My name is Barb Weston -- I am a Vancouver Reiki Practitioner and the Proprietor, Usui Reiki Master and Reiki Teacher of Inner Focus Holistic Healing. My Healing Studio is located in North Vancouver BC, where private, peaceful Reiki Sessions, Reiki Treatments, Reiki Training Classes, Ear Candling Sessions and BioMat Therapy Sessions take place. Thank you for taking time to read my profile. I am a certified Reiki Practitioner and Reiki Teacher registered with the Canadian Reiki Association (CRA) and I am the Vice President of the CRA. I am also a registered member of the BC Therapeutic Touch Network (BCTTN) and a member of the Health Action Network Society (HANS). I am a distributor for Amethyst BioMat products as well as a distributor for OrGano Gold health products.

The inception of Inner Focus Holistic Healing materialized shortly after experiencing my first Reiki Session as a client. The experience for me was life-changing. I had gone to see Reiki Master David Pilz, formerly located in Chilliwack BC -- just outside of Vancouver. There, I experienced a Reiki Treatment for the first time. David said my energy seemed low and offered to help me with this problem. My energy was indeed low and I felt like I had been dragged through the mud. I was very willing to see what he could do for me.

I climbed up on his healing table and laid down as instructed. I had no idea of what was about to happen but I felt very relaxed and at ease and was willing to receive this Reiki Healing. The next hour flew by as if it were only ten minutes. It was the most incredible experience of my life.

To try and put into words what I experienced during my very first Reiki Treatment is not possible because I experienced it at so many different levels. To make a long story short, this was the beginning of a major change in my life. From that day forward, I began a new journey. A journey that has brought me here to today. To Inner Focus.

I studied Reiki Level I, II and III under Usui Reiki Master David Pilz and went on to study Reiki Master Level IV under the guidance of Usui Reiki Master Rick Rivard of Threshold Resources. I have also studied Therapeutic Touch with BCTTN teacher, Doreen Matkovich. I attend regular Therapeutic Touch Training Sessions as well as Vancouver Reiki Exchanges and Reiki Shares on a monthly basis.

I volunteered my Therapeutic Touch services at an Extended Care Home every Tuesday morning for a year and a half until the home was closed down. Working with the elderly was very rewarding and I continually learned with every session.

I am currently on a waiting list to volunteer my Reiki and Therapeutic Touch services to the Palliative Care Ward at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver BC.

To be a Reiki Master and Therapeutic Touch Practitioner is an honor. To be able to offer my services to my friends, family and people who will come to me for help is an absolute joy. I am in awe of the incredible power of Universal Life Force Energy and am humbled to be a conduit for this Healing Energy.

I am always open to learning new techniques and improving my skills and I will continue learning and honing my skills as a Reiki Master and Therapeutic Touch Practitioner. Every Reiki Session is unique and powerful and I learn something new from each session. Life is a never ending school of lessons to learn and challenges to experience and I am a willing participant in this Life School.
